Bogazici University
Turkey
Scope
Mechatronic systems engineering refers usually to the synergistic integration of mechanical, electrical and electronics components. Many topics usually found in control theory and practice may arise as research topics in the area of Intelligent Control and Mechatronics, including:

- computational intelligence approaches, including neuro-fuzzy control of nonlinear electromechanical systems;
- industrial applications of control engineering, in general, and robotic systems in particular;
- Position, kinematical and dynamic force analysis of robot manipulators;
- Stability, robustness and other issues in dynamic systems;
- adaptive control, self-tuning regulators, direct and indirect control;
- intelligent control of vehicle systems.

The ICM special session invites quality papers describing original work including research ideas, case-studies and new findings on methodological and technological aspects related to intelligent control and mechatronics, in particular papers describing methods, techniques, recent advances, applications and tools.
Publications
All accepted papers will be published in a special section of the proceedings book, under an ISBN reference and on CD-ROM support.
All papers presented at the conference venue will be available at the SciTePress Digital Library (http://www.scitepress.org/DigitalLibrary/). SciTePress is member of CrossRef (http://www.crossref.org/).
